The Senior Party is a long-standing Minnetonka tradition that takes place immediately following the graduation ceremony.  It's a overnight "lock-in" event designed to provide a safe, fun, drug and alcohol-free way for our graduates to celebrate together one last time before starting their next chapter.

 

To add to the excitement, the party location is kept a secret until graduation night. Graduates are transported directly from the graduation ceremony to the venue and back to the school the following morning.  The evening is packed with entertainment, activities, and unlimited food.  There's truly something for everyone!

 

How does it happen?

The Senior Party is entirely planned, organized and supervised by parent volunteers. Sub-committees of Minnetonka parents dedicate their time throughout the year to raise the funds needed to create this unforgettable experience.  The cost of hosting the all-night party ranges between $80k-$100k depending on the venue.

Since the school district does not provide any financial assistance, funding comes directly from parent-led fundraising events and donations.  We rely on our community of parents, families, and friends to make this incredible night possible.
